Tacten is a two-player strategy card game available at playtacten.com and as an iOS app, operated by CronoWare LLC ("we", "us"). This policy covers both. The short version: no analytics, no tracking, and we don't sell or share your data.
No account is needed to play against the computer, pass-and-play, or in casual online rooms. Guest play stores nothing about you on our servers: online game rooms live only in memory and are erased when the game ends or expires. Your browser or device keeps a temporary room token locally so you can reconnect to a game in progress.
Signing in unlocks ranked play and friends. You can sign in with Apple (we request no name and no email from Apple) or with an email code. We store:
Your player name, rating, and online status are visible to other players (for example in friends lists and ranked matches).
Like nearly all internet services, our server keeps brief operational logs, which can include IP addresses, used only for abuse prevention (rate limiting) and troubleshooting. They are not used to profile you.
In the app: Settings → Delete account. This immediately and permanently removes your sign-in identifier (Apple identifier or email address), player name, friend connections, and sessions from our systems. Anonymous match statistics may persist, but nothing links them to you. You can also request deletion by email.
Tacten is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
